The Kindergarten Sponsorship program provides children ages 3-6 with a strong, nurturing foundation for their education in our camp kindergartens. UNRWA schools in the refugee camps begin at the first grade level and assume some level of literacy among incoming students. Therefore, NISCVT is committed to offering children in our community the best possible beginning to their learning, and providing a caring sanctuary from the crowded and unhealthy conditions that they often face. We utilize a culturally sensitive and enriching curriculum to enhance students’ abilities and develop their social, emotional, and mental capabilities.
Our teachers and social workers work to provide our students with a robust base in language skills while supporting their sense of independence and social cooperation. Students are encouraged to explore their interests through a diverse range of activities, from music and storytelling to sports and drawing. The kindergarten facilities are designed to provide spacious and warm environments with toys and learning materials, where the children are given a full nutritious meal daily.
As a sponsor, you will give young refugee children the tools to succeed in their future, and empower them to develop and mature at a critical stage of their childhood. Our kindergartens are an integral facet of camp communities, and need ongoing support to fulfill their mission. Your sponsorship will pay the fees for one child to receive a year of kindergarten, which cover teacher salaries, learning material costs, and meal provision. Please consider making a donation and giving a young girl or boy the most enduring gift possible- a solid early education.
- Kindergarten Sponsorship: US$186 per year . The Kindergarten children sponsorship Money covers the KG-costs of the child, whose parents are not able to pay the annual KG-fee.
