During January 2025, Beit Atfal Assumoud (BAS) has organized the following activities:

Commemorating Palestinian Martyr's Day
In commemoration of Palestinian Martyr's Day, which falls on January 7th, the Beit Atfal Assumoud Organization organized a series of national, cultural, and artistic activities across all its centers. The events included visits to martyrs' cemeteries and the laying of wreaths on memorial monuments, in addition to visiting the families of martyrs who sacrificed their lives in defense of Palestine and the right of return. The martyrs are a trust upon us, and we will remain loyal to their sacrifices.

Diesel Distribution Campaign in Collaboration with the Japanese OrganizationBeit Atfal Assumoud, in collaboration with the Japanese Organization, is pleased to announce the successful completion of the diesel distribution campaign, which took place in late December and early January. This initiative aimed to support approximately 1,500 Palestinian families, including resident Palestinian families, displaced families from Syria, and those facing extreme hardship, in Al-Jalil Camp in Baalbek and the Central Bekaa region. The campaign sought to provide essential heating during the harsh winter season.

"Don't Compromise... Draw and Resist" – Art Exhibition in Rashidieh Camp
Under the theme "Don't Compromise... Draw and Resist" and on the occasion of Palestinian Martyr's Day, Beit Atfal Assumoud organized an art exhibition in Rashidieh Camp at the site where martyrs fell, honoring their sacrifices and reviving their memory on January 14, 2025.
The exhibition featured a collection of artistic works that depicted the Palestinian struggle and the sacrifices of the martyrs, alongside messages of resistance and hope. The event witnessed wide participation from institutions, camp residents, and students, who emphasized the importance of commemorating the martyrs through art and creativity. They also reaffirmed the ongoing Palestinian struggle against occupation until the return to our beloved homeland, Palestine.

Graduation Ceremony for the Women's Beauty and Hairdressing Course at Beddawi Center
The National Institution of Social Care and Vocational Training (Beit Atfal Assumoud) organized a graduation ceremony on January 17, 2025, for students who completed the women's beauty and hairdressing course at the Beddawi Center. The course lasted six months.
The ceremony was attended by the coordinator of vocational training and educational support, Ms. Hind Marqa, along with the students' families and prominent figures from the camp. The event included speeches by the center’s director and students, as well as traditional Palestinian artistic performances.
At the end of the ceremony, certificates and personal toolkits were distributed to the graduates, enabling them to start their own beauty businesses from home. This initiative aims to empower women and help them achieve a better future.
